What is Peer Coaching?
Coaches need to have coaches too. Peer coaching makes it easy for us to coach each other. This allows us to sharpen our coaching skills and deepen out self-awareness. And it's free!
A basic premise of peer coaching is that we are helping each other grow without charging or paying for that help.
I have several peer coaches already, so I am pretty picky about who I invite to be a peer coach. If you want me as a peer coach, here is what I am looking for when you coach me:
- You will listen deeply and trust your intuition to guide you.
- You will challenge me to go deep.
- You will draw my own wisdom from within me (i.e. no advice unless I ask for it).
And here is what I promise when I coach you:
