About The Four Gateways
Waking Up
Waking up begins with the realization that you have been asleep. Whether you are waking up from a night’s slumber or beginning a spiritual journey, when you open your eyes, you see the world differently than when you are asleep.
The fundamental goal of this stage is to know yourself better. This will involve taking various assessments that help both you and your coach understand how various types of situations will impact you.
This stage includes learning several other practices that are described below.
Standing Up
As you clean up the parts of you that need work, you enter the stage of taking responsibility for your life and all that you are. Standing up involves building the skills to manage your life amore effectively. You will learn how to notice the reactive patterns in our life and consciously choose more appropriate responses. You will learn how to get off the Drama Triangle and choose healthier behaviors.
The Standing Up stage also involves getting a clear sense of the purpose of your life. Why are you here? What activates you and lights your fire? What are your personal values... the principles that are so important to you that you won't compromise them? What is the mission of your life... the North Star that guides you through every day?
This stage prepares your for the final stage in this process: Showing Up as the magnificent person you really are.
Cleaning Up
From your earliest childhood, you were receiving messages from your parents, peers, teachers and culture. Some of these messages were supportive and helped you develop a healthy ego; but based on the circumstances of your childhood, you may have interpreted many of these messages as limiting beliefs such as "I am not good enough" or "I am not loveable".. These self-limiting beliefs may still be present in your subconscious. In the Waking Up stage, you learned to identify these limiting beliefs. In this stage, you will learn how to reprogram them into positive and life-affirming beliefs .
Cleaning Up includes identifying at the patterns in your life that may be holding you back. If you tend to be defensive or reactive, how is that impacting your connections with others? If you are lonely and depressed, what patterns exist in your life that may be aggravating these feelings?
Ultimately, Cleaning Up is about facing your shadows, your dragons and inviting them to tea... integrating them into your awareness so that they no longer sneak up on you and scare you or those around you.
Showing Up
Showing Up is taking all of yourself out into the world and showing up in your magnificence. .. your power... and your humbleness. Showing Up is placing the sovereign's crown upon your head and being the king or queen you truly are.
What do you want your life to look like? How will you be remembered? Who will help you manifest your vision? Who must you let go of and who will you attract into your life?
