Body Wisdom
Used to release shadow energy
The BodyWisdom Process Script
Shortest Form
Summarized by Bob Jones
Ask, “What are you experiencing that you would prefer not to experience?”
Allow the client to describe their problem, issue, or discomfort. Encourage them to describe what they are experiencing right now, in this moment about their issue.
Ask the client to place their attention on their body and feel whatever sensations are present right now and tell you the sensations they are feeling that are associated with the issue.
Ask them to describe the sensation in as much detail as possible.
If past issue, ask client to remember what the experience felt like, and to reproduce the feeling by remembering the experience vividly, as if it were happening right now.
Then ask them to describe in as much detail as possible what the sensations feel like that are present in the body right now.
If future issue, ask them to imagine that thing as if it were happening right now and report the sensations they are feeling right now.
Direct the client to identify whatever the sensation feels like right now. Keep their attention focused on specific answers – the more specific the better.
- “For this issue, feel what it feels like in your body. What is happening in your body when you experience it?”
- Say, “Feel this sensation, just as it is. Notice the center of the sensation and with your awareness, expand outward in all directions until you find its outermost edges.
- Notice how far out extends. Sometimes edges are sharply defined and sometimes they are fuzzy. They may gray out, or fade out. If the edges fate out, look for the place where the sensation ends and doesn’t exist anymore.”
Question Series
- Look at the entire sensation’s shape and describe it. What shape is it exactly?
- How big is the sensation? Specifically, in inches: What is its height? Width? Depth? How far into or out of the body does it extend?
- How far beneath the skin does it start?
- Is there an energetic center that it seems to emanate from? Are there hot spots of more intensity or is the sensation the same everywhere?
- If you put in a scale, how much would it weigh?
- [If there is pressure] How many pounds of pressure does it have and in what direction is it pressing?
- If it had a color, what color would it be?
- If it was made of some material, what material would it be made of?
- Is it still? Or does it have some kind of movement, pulse or vibration? Describe it in detail.
- What is its temperature in relationship to your body temperature? Is it colder? Warmer? If you put a thermometer next to it, what temperature would it read?
- If the sensation exists in two or more places: Look to see whether the sensations are connected in some way. If they are, describe the connection.
- [add any other questions that are customized to the type of sensation they have described]
Summary
After client has identified a few of the sensation’s characteristics, say:
“OK, just let that <specific sensation> be there, and make sure your breathing”.
Let the person feel it just as it is for a little while, then ask:
“Is it still there? Or did it change? Or is it gone?”
- [if STILL THERE, say] “OK, just allow it to still be there.”
- IF CHANGED: ask, “How is it different? How is it similar? Or is it entirely different?”
- [if it is GONE, say] “Ok, just allow it to be gone.”
- If SIMILAR, ask them to describe what it is NOW, going through the questions again.
For example, if it is lighter or heavier, say,
“OK, just allow it to be {lighter | heavier} . How much does it weigh now?”
Repeat questions (step 5) as the sensation is NOW. It’s okay if they identify the change by referral (“It was the size of a bowling ball, now it’s the size of a baseball.”).
If Entirely Different, begin again from the beginning, as if it is an entirely different experience (because it is).
IF DISAPPEARED:
Ask, “How do you feel now” or “How do you feel without the sensation”
Say, “Great! Well done. You disappeared a sensation. Now you know you can disappear stuff.
IF STILL PRESENT AND UNCHANGED:
Go through questions again, encouraging them to actually feel the sensation AS-IT-IS rather than just observing or describing it.
If sensation is very persistent, go to the next step, the Dialogue.
Dialog begins here:
Say: “OK, now approach the sensation as if it were a living being, a person who wants to communicate something to you. Extend your attention to it, and ask it, respectfully, ‘What message do you have for me?’ Listen carefully to the answer and let me know what the message is.”:
If they didn’t get any response, ask them to ask the question again, adding “and take any information you get. It may be a voice with words, or a feeling, or a memory, or an image.. It could be any kind of communication. Let me know whatever you get”.
If the message is not clear, ask, “How would you interpret what you got?” Note that this may require some interpretation on your part.
“Ask the sensation, ‘Do you have any other information or another message for me?’ and listen to the answer and let me know what it says.”
If the message is not clear, ask clarifying questions. E.g. “Ask the sensation, ‘When you used the word ‘them,’ who is it you are specifically referring to?’” Ask as many questions as you need or want to to clarify the message.
After writing down the message, say, “Thank the sensation for delivering its message. Tell the sensation that you have received its message, and its job is done. Tell the sensation that it may now go.”
Wait a few moments and then ask, “Is the sensation still there or is it gone?”
IF GONE, ask, ” How are you feeling now that the sensation is gone?”
Say, “Well done! We are ending the exercise now”.
IF NOT GONE, ask, “Is it the same sensation or a different sensation?”
If same, consider switching to a different technique. Look for resistance or suppression that might be there. If you recognize resistance of some kind, do the process on the resistance. “Feel what the resistance feels like. Really feel it fully and completely. Where do you notice that sensation in your body? What shape and size is it?” And continue with the process. That usually releases the resistance sufficiently that you can go back and feel the previous sensation IF it is still there. (It often disappears when the sensation is dissolved, so be sure to check.)
If DIFFERENT, either go through the process again, if you feel it will unearth some more value, or go straight to the dialogue step.
The best next step is the BeliefCloset Process, which you will learn next.
