This test takes two forms (Project Tasks and Project Team Members) and creates one view from Team->Task and another from Task->Team. The purpose of this experiment is to understand how to handle these conditions.

Test #1

The first tab  is build on using the Project Team Member as the primary table and the Project Task as the joined table. They are joined on Person ID which appears in both tables. There are several issues with this test that need attention, or at least a good explanation:

  1. EDIT button missing in some rows
  2. This view is using an OUTER JOIN
  3. The EDIT ENTRY view is a catastrophe that has nothing to do with it’s definition.

Test #2

This test starts with the Project Task as the primary table and uses the Project Team Members table as its secondary table. The field in the EDIT Entry view are the same as those in Test 1, but the results are (again) completely unrelated to the definition. In both tests, all of the HTML ignored.

Assign a Project Team Member to a Project Task.
